Services

Immunization and Wellness Care

We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

Dental Care

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe instruments to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Our staff will polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. When necessary, our vet works as a dental surgeon to perform tooth extractions.

Internal Medicine

We cover all areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology; Ophthalmology; Neurology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Urology; Parasitology; Oncology; Endocrinology; among others. In the event that you animal's needs exceed our resources, we are happy to refer you to a qualified professional.

Behavioral Medicine

Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. We help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety, obsessive behavior, and inappropriate elimination. We will discuss treatment options and then develop a treatment regimen for the client.

Microchipping

Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery.

Pharmacy

We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field. We strive to always provide the most current and safe pharmaceutical therapy for our patients

Nutritional Counseling

Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep them happy, healthy and active

Surgery

All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Accompanying lab work can be done at the owner's request. We pride ourselves on, and are sufficiently staffed to provide ongoing care and monitoring of your pet before, during, and after any and all surgical procedures.

Pain Management

Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care. Pain medication is already included in the price of our surgical procedures because we believe that animals deserve the same pain management considerations we would expect for our own surgeries.

Radiology

X-rays help our veterinarians evaluate the muscular, skeletal, cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems to help in diagnosing problems.

Emergency and Critical Care

In any emergency, seconds count. Please contact our clinic in the event of a medical emergency. We provide emergency service to our clients Monday through Friday during operating hours. Off-hours, during the weekends, and on holidays, please contact A-Vet Emergency Clinic. In the case of continuing care, our vets work closely with the vets at A-Vet to ensure that your animal receives continuous care as long as is necessary

Hospice and Euthanasia Services

Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client. Cremation is available. In addition, clay paw-prints of your recently deceased loved one are available for our clients.
